Star Wars Eclipse Is Targeting a 2026 Release but May Be Delayed Further Rumor

Star Wars Eclipse

Star Wars Eclipse, an upcoming game based on the popular franchise in development by Quantic Dream, may not see the light anytime soon, according to a new report shared online today.

As reported by Insider Gaming, the game is targeting a 2026 release window but could be delayed further due to a variety of issues, mainly the difficulties the studio is having hiring staff to work on the game. These issues are related to allegations of workplace issues, such as sexual harassment, crunch, and toxic work culture. The scope of the game is also one of the reasons that game could even be delayed past the 2026 release window target.

Very little is currently known about Star Wars Eclipse other than the fact that will be an action-adventure title, a first for the developer. Last year, studio founder David Cage commented on the game, saying that it is the developer's most ambitious game to date and that will not be a reskin of Detroit: Become Human, although the Star Wars game will be influenced by the previous Quantic Dream game in some way.

Star Wars Eclipse launches on a yet-to-be-confirmed date. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
