Final Fantasy 7 Remake Cloud Strife Hyper 8K Texture Pack Remasters The Ex-Soldier’s Standard Outfit

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Cloud

Cloud Strife fans unite - a modder has released a Final Fantasy 7 Remake Cloud Strife Hyper 8K texture pack.

Last month, modder 'SweetFluff3D' released his handcrafted 8K texture pack for fan-favorite Tifa Lockheart, and yesterday, the modder released a similar pack for ex-Soldier Cloud Strife. Like the Tifa Hyper Pack, the Cloud Strife 8K Hyper Texture Pack replaces Cloud's standard outfit with an 8K version. Although the difference in texture quality might not be really visible in-game, players using this mod should see the upgrade in cinematics. This texture pack weighs in at roughly 780MB and comes in three files with different color options. Down below you'll find some comparison shots and a video of this texture pack in action:

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is available globally now for PC and PlayStation. Here's what we wrote about the PS5 and PC versions, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, in our review.

"The biggest addition of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, and the true star of this show, is the INTERmission story episode", Francesco de Meo wrote in 2021. "Released as separate DLC for those upgrading from the PlayStation 4 version, this new story episode stars Yuffie Kisaragi as she travels to Midgar to steal a new Materia from Shinra, with the help of a local Avalanche cell. This new episode is a side-story that starts shortly after the bombing of the Sector 5 reactor and proceeds parallel to the main story, and, as such, it features a considerably different tone that is more lighthearted, which is further highlighted by the energetic soundtrack that features some very catchy tunes like the battle theme and a few others. Still, there are some interesting characters, including the return of one that originally appeared in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII titles, and some story developments that may have some consequences in future installments, so long-time Final Fantasy VII fans will definitely not want to miss them out."
