This is the initial reaction of Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles of the Luminous on news report that Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso and the Manila City Hall has approved the grant of amnesty to thousands of public and private transport drivers who have incurred huge amounts of penalties for repeated traffic violations.

Atty. Trixie can’t help but ask who will suffer from the consequences of Mayor Isko’s grant of amnesty to traffic violators? She went on to answer her own question.

Pero sino maghihirap nyan? Yung city na mababawasan ng income para sa serbisyo. Yung commuting public na nasasawi dahil di natututo sumunod sa batas ng mga drayber. Yung mga negosyong nalulugi dahil sa trapik. At yung mga drayber mismo na parang inabswelto lang ng walang kahiraphirap.

Atty. Trixie questioned Mayor Isko’s caliber as a leader. A leader who rewards anomaly? If the answer is in the affirmative, she said Mayor Isko is still raw and not yet ready to become president. What he has done is trapo move. Bad for the country and good for his personal ambition.

Yan ba ang lider? Nirereward yung tiwali? Hindi ka pa yata talaga ready mag presidente, mayor. Trapo moves yan. Masama para sa bayan pero mabuti para sa personal mong ambisyon.

Atty. Trixie ended the brief FB post saying that Mayor Isko’s latest behavior is making it obvious he has stains of dilaw in him.

Nahahalata tuloy yung bahid mong dilaw.

Para na ding suhol sa boto. So wala nang batas o ordinansa iiral pag repeated violators ok lang. Kung ganyan parang walang functioning government. Ganyan ang pagwasak ng institutions.. Communist Joma prototype.

Paraparaan nga.. Para lng makakuha ng simpatya o boto.. Habang nalalapit talaga ung eleksyon daming hunyango lumalabas.. Ibat ibang kulay.. Bakit ayaw nyong makinig kay atty trixie.. Kung gusto nyong manalo sa eleksyon addition ang gawin nyo… Wag nyong awayin si tatay digong na may malasakit sa bayan. Tulad nung isang idol ng bayan daw… Mukat sabihing 40m versus 60 m.. Bakit.. Inaaway ba..???

A clear and dangerous dishonesty practices of unpatriotic politicians. A clear dirty political move of a dirty politician like Isko Moreno. Lumalabas ang street mindset ni Isko playing dirty. It is a short-term gain for few with a long-term suffering for many.

Para paraan lang ni Isko para makakuha ng boto. Sadsad ang kaban ng bayan at mas lalong darami ang utang ng bansa kapag ang katulad niyan ang maging Presidente. Kailangan ay sobrang talino ng mga cabinet Secretaries nito dahil baka hindi ma balanse ang ekonomiya.

Completely wrong from all angles. What a stupid move. Una, di nyo kaya solusyunan ang problema ng traffic, ngayon na may law that keeps drivers on their toes… you give away the penalty and cripple the law. Is this under your turf? or of the LTO and MMDA? Honestly, aside from the beautification of some parks (which was done by a contractor paid for by people’s money), have you done in Manila – really!?
