Jay Sonza, netizens mock Senator Dick Gordon & fellow senators for “face shield expiry dates” controversy

On face shields having expiration dates as per Gordon-led Senate Blue Ribbon Committee, retired broadcaster Jay Sonza poked fun at the senators behind the senate probe, to the amusement of netizens.

In a Facebook post, Sonza warned in jest, that face shield is neither medicine nor food hence it needs production and expiry date as per statement from Senate Food ans Drug Administration.

Sonza added that it must be made of plastic and other synthetic materials to guarantee its efficacy to make the end user experience difficulty in breathing?

Must also be available using fabric and old clothes for individuals who have no money to buy.

Otherwise, individuals who failed to answer according to the whims and caprices of the presiding chairman is punishable with immediate incarceration at the Pasay City Jail.

Netizens have mixed reactions on Gordon and company saying face shields must have expiry dates.

Hindi nga po expiration date yung pinalitan nung witness kundi PRODUCTION DATE. I googled if faceshields have expiration dates, it said minimum of 10 yrs while some are lesser. So hindi pa rin po yun expired kase production date na pinalitan is 2020, one netizen wrote.

Face mask is just like our clothes. Meron bang expiration ang mga damit pagbinili sa malls? another netizen wondered.

Parang hinde mo na masikmura ginagawa nitong mga ungas na senador. Kawawa yung intsik na hinde makasagot sa gusto nilang sagot at tinatakot kaagad.
