Online sports betting accounted for $7.6 million of the total revenue, signaling a significant shift in the market.

Boot Hill Casino and DraftKings have emerged as the dominant leaders in the Kansas sports betting scene, maintaining their top position. Their successful collaboration resulted in a handle of $97.2 million in September, solidifying their market dominance and setting a high standard for their competitors.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway, in partnership with Barstool, has established itself as the leading retail sportsbook in the state. Their success is evident in the $54.5 million handle and $3 million in total revenue generated during the month.

The state of Kansas has reaped the benefits of the flourishing sports betting market. In September alone, the government collected a substantial $484,366 in taxes, demonstrating the economic growth and revenue potential of the industry. These tax collections further underscore the positive impact that sports betting has on the state’s economy.

Kansas Star Casino and FanDuel achieved an impressive handle of $54.5 million, resulting in $3 million in total revenue. This performance solidifies their position in the market and showcases their ability to attract bettors. Similarly, Kansas Crossing Casino and BetMGM made significant progress, boasting a handle of $21.4 million and $813,946 in revenue.

Kansas sports betting has consistently exceeded expectations, surpassing previous records set earlier this year. In fact, September’s figures surpassed the previous record of $206.3 million, set in March, by an impressive 6.3%.
