Sony has announced the latest lineup of games coming to their PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers in July. This month, subscribers can look forward to the GOTY co-op adventure It Takes Two, zombie shooter World War Z, classic indie RPG Undertale, and more. Meanwhile, Classic-tier subscribers can blast their friends in a pair of old-school Twisted Metal titles.
Here are the PS Plus Extra headliners for July…
It Takes Two (PS4, PS5)
From Wccftech’s review – “It Takes Two is one of the most varied, inventive games ever made, serving up dozens upon dozens of different styles of gameplay in a remarkably polished, approachable package. An inconsistent level of challenge and lack of editing may strain your relationship with the game at times, but It Takes Two is good enough to justify working through the rough patches.”
World War Z (PS4, PS5)
From Wccftech’s review – “World War Z is a surprisingly fresh take on the well-trodden Left 4 Dead formula. While a bit rough around the edges and nowhere near as groundbreaking as Valve’s series, World War Z is a confident co-op shooter that turns the intensity to 11 without being overwhelming or obnoxious. If you think you’ve got the stamina, this war is worth enlisting for.”
Undertale (PS4)
“Explore a rich RPG world full of strange and delightful characters where violence isn’t the only answer. Dance with a slime…pet a dog…whisper your favorite secret to a knight…or ignore all of that and rain destruction upon your foes. The choices are yours—but are you determined enough to prevail?”
