Weekly quests are available once again in Fortnite, and they feature several challenges that will reward you with plenty of XP when you complete them. They will be listed on the game menu until the end of the season, so you still have plenty of time to finish all the assignments. You can check Week 3 missions in this guide.
As usual, weekly quests are divided into two different stages. The second is unlocked after you complete the first. You will get plenty of XP as a reward, so don’t neglect them if you want to level up faster and unlock all the items and Skins included in this Season’s Battle Pass.
In our guide, you will find valuable tips and tricks that will help you complete Week 3 quests in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 3.
You can thank the bus driver at the start of any match by pressing the dedicated button while still on the battle bus. When you arrive on the island, you must search for a chest and open it to complete this weekly quest. The map is full of chests, so you won’t have any problem finding them. If you land on a house at any named location in the game, you will probably locate one. The same goes for landmarks and gas stations. You need to complete this task three times.
You can visit three different locations with lots of mud during this Season. You can go near Rumble Ruins, Creeky Compound, or Shady Stilts. You will quickly notice these spots because they look almost like a river but have dark brown and muddy water. Start running and then slide for 100 meters, so you will complete the quest. You can repeat this action multiple times if you can’t cover the distance by sliding just once.
You can find assault rifles in chests and as standard floor loot. You shouldn’t have any problem getting one, as plenty are on the island. When you get it, you must start looking for opponents and shoot them so that you will damage them. It shouldn’t take long, but you can complete this mission during different matches if you need to.
There are plenty of NPC to talk to, and you will see a dialog icon on the map when you are close to any of them. You must talk to five different characters to complete this Week 3 quest. You can find Insight at Rumble Ruins, while Purradise Meowscles is west of Creeky Compound, near the waterfall. Innovator Slone is southeast of Rumble Ruins, and Aura is also close to this location, just southwest of it, near the river. Trace is in this area as well, precisely east of Rumble Ruins.
You will also find many other characters in the game, and it doesn’t matter if you interact with one instead of another. You will finish this quest once you talk to five of them.
This mission can be tricky, as getting headshots is a challenging task in the game. You can use a sniper rifle and try to hit them from a distance. You can also use pistols or assault rifles, but it would be more difficult. You can, instead, use a shotgun and shoot enemies from a short distance. With this weapon, you have a higher chance of hitting their heads.
If you find a Flare Gun, you will probably complete this quest quite quickly because you just need to shoot in the air to reveal the position of any enemy player or character near you. Alternatively, you can claim a capture point to trigger the same action. You must spot ten different enemy players or characters to get this done.
To open vaults, you need specific Keycards. You can only obtain them by eliminating the Highcard boss and grabbing his loot. There are different Vault locations on the island, and this boss will randomly spawn near one of them during every match. You can find him near Brutal Bastion, west of Slappy Shores, northeast of The Citadel, southwest of Frenzy Fields, at MEGA City, or Shattered Slabs. Once done, get the Vault Keycard and open the Vault. You must repeat this two times to clear this mission.
