Today’s Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Patch 15.0.1 for Switch and PC Packs Various Bug Fixes

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak patch 15.0.1

Capcom has released Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak patch 15.0.1 for both the Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam, and we've got the release notes.

As detailed by the development team, this new update packs various bug fixes across both platforms. Interestingly enough, this patch hasn't been made available on Xbox and PlayStation platforms just yet. The release notes only mention some fixes for encountered bugs, including one that addresses an issue that prevented the "Destructive Dragon Deity" quest from showing up in the Join Request search on some occasions.

The update also includes a fix for a progression issue that prevented progress if the player gets hit with an attack during the Quest Completed animation. We suggest reading the full release notes, although minor, on the official support page for Monster Hunter Rise.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is available globally now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. The PlayStation and Xbox versions launched last month. Here's what we wrote about the Sunbreak expansion in our review last year.

"Despite being just an expansion, Monster Hunter Sunbreak offers something new in the PC release regarding visual options", Francesco de Meo wrote. "The game now fully supports NVIDIA DLSS, meaning it will be easier than ever to play the game at high frame rates without sacrificing visual quality for those with NVIDIA RTX cards. AMD FSR, unfortunately, is not supported, at least at launch. Still, thankfully, Monster Hunter Rise and its expansion are not particularly demanding games. Hence, a relatively recent machine has no trouble running them at acceptable frame rates and resolutions even without an NVIDIA RTX GPU. Visuals have also been touched up a bit, with some subtle but noticeable changes to lighting and more."
