Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – How to Investigate the Abandoned Shack

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Exploring around in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is as much fun as taking down enemies using Cal's Lightsaber Stances and Force powers, but there will be times when what you have to do to explore select locations to the fullest isn't immediately evident.

This is the case of the Abandoned Shack, a location on planet Koboh that can be reached fairly early but cannot be explored fully before reaching a certain part in the story to get a certain ability. Even then, it may not be easy to understand how to destroy the wall inside the shack to obtain a very useful upgrade for Cal.

How to Investigate the Abandoned Shack in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

As mentioned above, the Abandoned Shack can be found in the Foothill Falls area on planet Koboh, not too far from Pyloon's Saloon and where the Mantis is docked. Reaching the shack requires you to complete a simple navigational challenge, and you will have to fight a few enemies once reaching it, so be prepared.

Once the enemies have been taken down, you can enter the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Abandoned Shack, but there isn't a whole lot you can do inside. All you can do is use the Force to move around some metal plates, which doesn't lead to anything. What you will want to do is to get into the blocked chamber to get an upgrade for Cal, and to do so, you will have to destroy the wall blocking the way.

To do so, you will need to use a Roller Mine, which can be spawned nearby. Leave the shack and head towards the path downhill to summon a Nekko. Mount it and head back to the shack's area and use the beast to jump higher to reach the wall in the back, which you can wall-run to the left to reach another platform. Make your way across to reach another elevated area with a Roller Mine spawner. Use BD-1 to spawn one, and move quickly towards the edge of this platform. Facing the shack, use Force Pull, aim for the roof of the shack and use Force Push to throw the Roller Mine. If the throw was successful, the Roller Mine will destroy the wall, allowing you to enter the formerly blocked chamber. Inside, you find an extremely useful Healing Stim capacity upgrade, which is always great to have, considering enemies hit hard in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, especially at Jedi Master and Jedi Grand Master difficulties.
