Hironobu Sakaguchi Is Open To Bring Fantasian To PC

Fantasian

Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi may have left Square Enix years ago, but he hasn't been idle since, releasing plenty of solid role-playing games, the latest of them, Fantasian, two years ago. Not many had the chance to try out the game due to its Apple Arcade exclusivity, but things may change in the future.

As reported by IGN Japan today, the Final Fantasy series creator has been asked about the possibility of Fantasian making its way onto other platforms at the MAGIC 2023 anime and game festival held in the Principality of Monaco. Hironobu Sakaguchi is aware of the demand for a PC version of the game as well as requests for a sequel, and he confirmed he is open to both. He added that nothing has been decided as of now regarding the sequel, but the possibility is there.

As mentioned, Fantasian was released in 2021 on the Apple Arcade service and has yet to be made available on other formats. The second part of the game, which was released around four months after the first launched, only confirmed how the game is an incredibly solid effort from Mistwalker, featuring a unique blend of over 150 dioramas, physical environments, and 3D characters, as well as a unique combat system that sets the experience apart from any other JRPG now available on the market.

Fantasian is now available as part of the Apple Arcade service. We will let you know if the game makes its way on other formats as soon as an announcement is made, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
