A closer look at the photo collage revealed that while the Red Cross ambulance from Great Britain does not bear the name of its chairman, the same cannot be said of the Philippine Red Cross.

Netizens joined the fun and shared their opinion on the issue.

Red Cross in other countries and Red Crescent in Muslims countries don’t have the names of politicians or royal family. Kkahiya namn ky Gordon, commented one netizen.

This netizen said he was not surprised because tradition politicians like Gordon would do everything to lift up their names.

Seems like that’s the trademark of the corrupt traditional politicians. They’re always lifting up their name’s in every possible scenario and they’re not ashamed of it.

This netizen can’t help and ask if Gordon bought the vehicle out of his own pocket to earn such privilege of having his name plastered on the Red Cross ambulance.

Wow! Did he buy it from his OWN POCKET? BUT OF COURSE NOT ONLY GORDON BUT EVERY POLITICIAN HAS THEIR NAMES ON THESE AMBULANCE VANS! SOMETIMES ARE USED FOR “PERSONAL” PURPOSES AND MOSTLY NOT TO A HOSPITAL BUT TO A NUPTIAL, BAPTISMAL, MALL, and other als. Your guess is as good as mine.

Another netizen commented that he has been to many parts of the globe and yet he has not seen Red Cross or Red Crescent ambulance bearing the name of a politician.

Narating ko na ang maraming bansa sa buong mundo pero ang mga Red Cross at Red Cresent ambulance walang mga pangalan at mukha na nakalagay only in the Philippines na parang si Gordon ang may ari. Suwapang din naman eh….

For delicadeza, dapat umalis na si Dick Gordon sa Red Cross. Ginawa nyang gatasan ang isang charity organization at ginawang campaign materials para sa kanyang mga political ambitions, insisted another.
