“Do not vote for these oppressive senators” — Atty. Trixie of the Luminous on Senators Drilon, Lacson & Gordon

Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles of the Luminous has taken to Facebook to rally the public against senators whom she described oppressive and the embodiment of what is wrong with PH politics.

Atty. Trixie began by jogging the memory of netizens when Nick Faeldon stood up to the senators during a senate probe without fear.

Atty. Trixie remembered how Faeldon bravely absorb everything the senators could throw at him that even cost him his job at the Customs.

Atty. Trixie said that the same senators who ran over Faeldon and NFA Admin Aquino are now using the same old tricks in the latest senate probe. However, Atty. Trixie remarked that the Duterte supporters now know better.

Atty. Trixie ended the FB post by urging netizens not to vote for these oppressive senators because they are the embodiment of what is wrong with Philippine politics.

Do not re-elect these senators. They don’t deserve to sit in government and being paid by our own money, said another.

I will remember these senators during the 2022 national elections. They are not helping the goverment succeed. They are just doing investigations in aid of legislation in front of national TVs but no legislation or laws being crafted. They are not doing their jobs in crafting or making the national laws effective to the common people. I will never vote these senators next election, chimed in another.

Never to this senators again.. they are useless to our country..they use their powers to bark remarked another netizen.

Tandaan ninyo. When Gordon threatened Faeldon with imprisonment, nagpakulong si Nick. He wasn’t afraid of these senators. Frustrated and angry, yes. But fear, no.

And he took everything they threw at him. Kinasuhan sya, pinatanggal sa pwesto, kinulong.

Now these senators are still up to their old tricks, but now we know better. We saw what they did, not just to Faeldon but to NFA Admin Jason Aquino as well, as the latter tried to oppose the dangerous Rice Tariffication Act and ruinous importation that would burden and destroy our farmers and local production.

Do not vote for these oppressive senators. Do not let them get back into office. They embody everything that is wrong with Philippine politics.
