An open letter from a boxing fan of Senator Manny Pacquiao expressing one’s sentiment for his latest defeat on top of the boxing ring has been making the rounds online.

MJ Quiambao Reyes, a self-confessed fan Pacquiao wrote an open letter to tell him she was half-sad of what happened last Sunday in Vegas.

Reyes told Pacquiao she believe he is good person although misguided by the people around him.

At this juncture, Reyes minced no words in telling Pacquiao to contemplate the recent loss as a sort of the tap on his shoulder to wake him up from his delusions of grandeur.

Reyes wished that latest Pacquiao’s defeat may signal the end of his messianic complex and the emergence of a genuine public servant.

Reyes ended the short open letter by leaving Pacquiao with a solid and sensible advice on what to with his advisers.

I think his defeat has nothing to do with his political ambition my opinion. Manny was a great fighter, but he’s not getting any younger, there are more stronger, younger and wiser fighter out there…he had his time, glory, and victory, and now his defeat. In the field of sport, but not in politics, MP knows his game and contributed honour and glory to our country, said another netizen.
